In order to promote the rapid development of Chinese magic, the Seminar for the National Professional Magicians 2011, co-organized by Department of Art, Ministry of Culture, the People's Republic of China and Shanghai International Magic Festival, will be held in Shanghai from November 2 to November 8.

To meet the desire of all the spectators for the Shanghai International Magic Festival, and to raise the quality level of the lectures, discussed and approved by the parties involved, the lectures during the Festival (Nov. 3 - 6) will be combined with those of the Seminar for the National Professional Magicians, in other words, the formal registered spectators for the Festival, with identity cards, can audit the lectures of the Seminar of November 3 - 6, the Festival will NOT hold lectures of same topics separately.

Due to the spacious limitations of the Seminar, only 110 registered spectators will be admitted to attend the lectures. Other spectators, those with registered numbers equivalent to 111 and bigger can watch the live TV broadcasting of the lectures. To avoid any misunderstanding, amateur spectators, please confirm, with our staff, your registered numbers when you go through the registration and payment procedures. Your attention and cooperation will be much appreciated.

By the way, to meet the desire of the registered spectators to the maximum, the lectures of the Seminar of November 2, 7 and 8 will be open to them with charge of 100 yuan per lecture. The lectures will NOT be open to non-registered spectators. The number of attendants for the charged lectures is limited and extra spectators will not be allowed admittance if the number is fulfilled.
